ISLAMABAD: China has reiterated its support for Pakistan following recent attacks in Balochistan, reaffirming its commitment to Islamabad’s counter-terrorism efforts and regional stability.
In a statement posted on X, the Chinese Embassy in Pakistan said Beijing strongly opposes terrorism in all its forms and will continue backing Pakistan in maintaining social stability and protecting public safety.
“China has zero tolerance for terrorism and will keep supporting Pakistan in counter-terrorism operations, safeguarding its people, and promoting regional peace,” the embassy said.
The statement came after security incidents in Balochistan prompted international reactions, with Chinese officials emphasizing continued cooperation with Pakistan on security matters.
Officials in Islamabad welcomed the message, describing China as a key strategic partner in regional security and counter-terrorism coordination.
Pakistan has faced recurring militant violence in parts of Balochistan, where authorities continue operations aimed at restoring law and order.
