Pakistan, U.S. Forces Complete Joint Training Under Exercise Inspired Gambit

PABBI, PAKISTAN: Pakistani and United States Army personnel have completed joint training at Pakistan’s National Counter-Terrorism Center (NCTC) in Pabbi as part of Exercise Inspired Gambit, according to the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

The bilateral exercise, which began on January 8 and will conclude on January 16, focuses on combined infantry skills, tactical training, and counterterrorism operations, ISPR said.

A ceremony for distinguished guests was held at the NCTC on Thursday, where participants demonstrated skills acquired during the exercise. ISPR said the guests were briefed on the objectives, scope, and conduct of the training.

U.S. Chargé d’Affaires Natalie A. Baker and senior U.S. military officials attended the event, ISPR added.

According to the military’s media wing, troops from both sides displayed a high level of professionalism throughout the exercise. The visiting delegation commended the participants for their performance and operational coordination.

ISPR said the exercise aims to enhance bilateral military cooperation by sharing counterterrorism experiences, improving operational procedures, and strengthening interoperability between the two forces.
