LAHORE: Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) President Aminul Islam arrived in Pakistan on Monday for consultations linked to an upcoming International Cricket Council (ICC) meeting, sources familiar with the matter said.
According to officials, the visit is connected to ongoing coordination between the Pakistan Cricket Board and the International Cricket Council amid recent developments in international cricket governance.
Sources said Aminul Islam is expected to meet PCB Chairman Mohsin Naqvi during his stay. Both the Bangladesh and Pakistan cricket boards are scheduled to take part in the ICC meeting virtually.
The BCB president is also expected to exchange views on regional cricket matters, with broader discussions likely to take place during related Asian cricket engagements, officials said.
Aminul Islam is expected to return to Dhaka later in the day following the conclusion of the consultations.
