Pakistan has offered access to its military training institutions to the Qatari Armed Forces, signalling a further strengthening of defence cooperation between the two countries, according to officials familiar with the discussions.
The offer was made during recent defence-level engagements aimed at expanding collaboration in training, capacity building, and professional military education. Pakistani officials highlighted the country’s extensive experience in training personnel from friendly nations across a range of military disciplines.
Defence cooperation between Pakistan and Qatar has grown steadily in recent years, supported by regular high-level exchanges and joint engagements. Officials said enhanced training collaboration would help improve interoperability and institutional links between the two armed forces.
Both sides reaffirmed their commitment to deepening defence ties as part of broader bilateral relations, while noting that future cooperation would be guided by mutual interests and evolving regional security needs.
