Major General Yousef Ahmed A. Al Huneiti, Chairman Joint Chiefs of Staff of the Jordan Armed Forces, called on Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, Chief of Army Staff and Chief of Defence Forces, at General Headquarters (GHQ), Rawalpindi, the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) said.
During the meeting, both sides held detailed discussions on matters of mutual interest, evolving regional and global security dynamics, and avenues to further strengthen bilateral defence and military cooperation. The visiting dignitary appreciated the professionalism of the Pakistan Armed Forces and acknowledged their contributions toward regional peace and stability, according to ISPR.
Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir reaffirmed Pakistan’s commitment to deepening defence relations with Jordan and highlighted the importance of close collaboration to address emerging security challenges. The meeting concluded with a shared resolve to further enhance military-to-military cooperation between the two brotherly countries, ISPR added.
