UAE rules out use of its land, air or sea space for any action against Iran

ABU DHABI: The United Arab Emirates has said it will not permit its land, airspace or territorial waters to be used for any military action against Iran, reaffirming its position amid heightened regional tensions.

In a statement, the UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs said the country remains firmly opposed to allowing any hostile operations to be launched from its territory or providing logistical support for such actions.

The ministry stressed that dialogue, de-escalation and respect for international law remain the most effective ways to address current regional challenges.

It added that the UAE continues to prioritise diplomatic solutions, underscoring its commitment to state sovereignty and peaceful conflict resolution.

Officials said Abu Dhabi believes sustained engagement and cooperation among regional actors are essential to maintaining stability and preventing further escalation.
